Consequences don’t Cancel Grace
Some decisions are made in a moment and then the consequences haunt for years.
A sixteen-year-old girl suffers from abuse and neglect at home, goes to prom hoping for more than an escape. She wants what many girls want at that age: to be saved by a hero and live happily ever after. The 18 year old boy’s promises make him that hero. She believes sex will consummate them. Her desperation blinds her to the negative consequences of her choice. She’s not trying to destroy her life, but hoping for a new one.
