Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Let’s Go Eat
During my first few weeks at my Peace Corps work site in Tamale, Ghana, I almost died of malaria. After taking the curative dose of medicine, I slept for a long time. I don't remember how long I slept, but when I woke up, I wasn't sure what day it was. I was tired and weak, but the severe headache and fever were gone. My stomach grumbled; it had been days since I'd eaten anything. I went to the kitchen and found a small pouch of groundnuts (peanuts), a can of tuna, and a little uncooked rice in a pot. I was too weak to cook anything, so I ate the nuts and the tuna. Needless to say, it did little to satisfy my hunger.
